We thought it was about time to let you in on a little gem we’ve discovered, and we’re super excited to introduce you to a unique way of colouring...So welcome to our first mini blog series!

GLYNT Shadows is a compact colour range of just 71 shades, designed to keep your stock low and your creativity high!

We’re talking Quality over Quantity! Colour that not only offers tailor-made results but lets you colour-cocktail until your heart's content!

GLYNT’s Tone Breakdown:

GLYNT Shadows are neither cool nor warm but have a true, neutral undertone, and each shade is calibrated differently!

.0 Natural

.1 Ash (Green up to level 7, from levels 8, 9, and 10, it's more of a Grey-Blue.)

.3 Gold

.4 Copper

.5 Mahogany Red

.6 Violet

.7 Brown (Doesn't appear on the colour wheel as it's close to Neutral)

.8 Pearl

So what makes it different?

GLYNT Shadows Demi are Demi Permanent colours that offer long-lasting shine, longevity and care for the hair.

GLYNT Shadows Permanent are Permanent hair colours, for vibrancy, lift and complete white hair coverage, whilst protecting the hair.

Mix them together, and you’ve got a match made in heaven!

But why, we hear you ask?!

In the GLYNT Shadows range, not every shade is available in both Shadows Demi and Shadows Plus...this is because they work harmoniously together and can be combined! Now we know this sounds a little confusing, but bear with us on this one!

Let’s break down the colour chart:

Shadows Demi shades will only contain numbers and are in yellow tubes.

Shadows Permanent shades will contain numbers and a + symbol, and are in pink tubes

If a shade is available in both, you can choose whether to use Demi or Permanent hair colour for your formula.

But that’s not all...

If there is an M for mixing in the colour chart, the shade isn’t ready-made in a tube, and this is where our colour cocktailing kicks in! Each swatch has instructions on what shades need to be mixed to achieve the final result, in either Demi Permanent or Permanent, by breaking down how many parts of each shade are needed. Cool right?!

This not only means that you can achieve endless shades compared to the number of tubes you have in stock, but you can easily tailor-make formulas for each client, by tweaking formulas to suit them and really set your creativity free!

2% Energizer contains a Thickener Additive and Care Ingredients

Cream Oxyd 3%, 6%, 9% and 12% contain a Colour Stabiliser

GLYNT only recommend using Cream Oxyd 3% with their Lightening Powders (there’ll be a blog about these soon!)

When you want to achieve white hair coverage, darker or tone-on-tone results, use Cream Oxyd 6%

For 2 levels of lift, use Cream Oxyd 9%

For 3 levels of lift use Cream Oxyd 12%
